Leopard In Greater Noida Society: In Uttar Pradesh, there has been a stir since Leopard was seen in an area of Greater Noida. The leopard was allegedly sighted again on the morning of Wednesday, January 4, in the group housing society here. Due to this the local people were scared. There is no danger to the lives of the people, so the decision was taken for home delivery of essential goods.
The statement of Pramod Srivastava, DFO of Gautam Budh Nagar has come on the news of leopard in Greater Noida. He said, “An operation has been launched to catch the leopard, although no trace of the leopard has been found so far. Traps and cameras have been installed from our side in Greater Noida, all exits have been covered.”

According to the information received from the Forest Department, a search operation was also conducted in Ajnara Le Garden in Sector 16 of Greater Noida (West) for the second consecutive day to rescue the leopard. According to Mukesh Gupta, his wife is among those who said they saw the leopard in the area on Wednesday morning. Gupta said, “My wife saw the leopard roaming in the society on Wednesday morning. When she saw the leopard near the swimming pool, there was a little mist.” Another resident Amit Kumar said that home delivery facility is also being provided at some places and people are taking utmost care while going out.

A day before on Tuesday the news came that a leopard has been seen in the group housing society. After which panic spread among the residents of the group housing society. An official said that four teams of the Forest Department are on the spot in Gautam Buddh Nagar, along with experts from Meerut, Agra and Ghaziabad have also been included in the rescue operation. The official said that the forest staff encountered the leopard late on Tuesday night, which confirmed its presence in the society.
