Peru Football Match Incident: One player died tragically and several others were injured due to lightning during a football match in Peru. This accident happened on November 3 when a match was being played between Juventud Bellavista and Familia Chocca at the Coto-Coto Stadium in Silca. The players were leaving the field at the time of lightning as the game was temporarily stopped. 39-year-old player Jose Hugo de la Cruz Meza was directly hit by lightning and died on the spot.
