Counting of votes for Bareilly and Aonla Lok Sabha seats will be held on June 4. Counting of votes is to be held in Parsakheda of CBganj. District Election Officer Ravindra Kumar has issued an order under the instructions of the Election Commission. According to this, there will be a ban on the sale of intoxicants in the district from 6 am on June 4 till the counting of votes is over. All wholesale and retail shops of country liquor, foreign liquor, beer, model shop, bar and cannabis will remain closed. Action will be taken against violation of the order. No reward will be payable to the licensees.

Voting took place in the third phase

Voting for Bareilly and Aonla Lok Sabha seats was held on May 7 in the third phase. 57.88 percent voting took place in Bareilly seat. 57.08 percent voters exercised their franchise in Aonla. With this, the fate of the candidates was captured in the EVM. Counting of votes will be done in Parsakheda on June 4 under a five-tier security cover. There will be a security cover inside and outside the hall including barriers, parking, barricading of the entrance.

Counting of votes will be done on 14-14 tables

In a press conference held in the Collectorate auditorium on Friday, District Election Officer Ravindra Kumar said that 14 tables each including one RO table will be set up in separate halls for the nine assembly constituencies. There will be four personnel on each table. Information about the phase-wise results will be shared on social platforms. Entry into the counting hall with electronic gadgets will be prohibited.
