Nikhil Swami/Bikaner: The summer season has started. In such a situation, the demand for beverages has also started increasing. Among these beverages, Lassi is in highest demand. There is a place in Bikaner where Lassi is not made from cow’s milk but from buffalo’s milk. We are talking about Amit’s Lassi in the tea bar of Bikaner. Apart from the city, there are fans of this Lassi all over the world. People from different corners of the country and also from abroad come here to drink Lassi.

Young businessman Amit Acharya told that he is making and selling lassi to the people in the indigenous way. He says that they sell lassi from 5.30 am to 11.30 am. Until all their curd is finished. He says that he prepares pure and good quality lassi and makes them drink it in front of the people. He told that he milks the buffalo himself. Curd is made from the same milk only. Lassi is made by adding saffron to curd and churning it. After stirring for about 5 minutes, lassi is prepared and served to the customer.

About 150 people drink lassi every day
Amit Acharya told that there are different prices of Lassi here. The price of Lassi in a glass is Rs 30, while in an earthen pot it is priced at Rs 50. He curds 30 to 35 kg of milk daily. Amit sells lassi sitting near his father. His father makes tea and sells it. Every day 100 to 150 people come to drink lassi.
