Lok Sabah Election 2024 first phase voting on Madhya Pradesh 6 seat including chindwara


Lok Sabah Election 2024: Voting will be held in the first phase on 6 Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh on 19 April. In the first phase, voting will be held on Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and Chhindwara seats. All the candidates have filed their nominations on all these 6 seats and now they are ready to contest.

There is a direct contest between Congress and BJP in the first phase of voting. last Lok Sabha Elections Out of these 6 seats, BJP had won 5, while Congress had won only one seat of Chhindwara. Congress candidate from Chhindwara Nakul Nath had won this seat in the last elections.

BJP’s strong hold on the direct seat

This time BJP has fielded Rajesh Mishra from Sidhi, while Congress has placed its bet on Kamleshwar Patel. Sidhi is a strong fort of BJP, demolishing which will be a big challenge for Congress. BJP got a bumper victory here in the 2019 elections and Preeti Pathak reached the Lok Sabha after being elected as MP.

Expected tough competition in Shahdol

Shahdol seat remains in discussion because of the tribal community. BJP has fielded sitting MP Himadri Singh while Congress has fielded three-time MLA Phundelal Marco. This time the competition is expected to be tough in Shahdol. Last time BJP had won here.

Congress will challenge BJP in Jabalpur

BJP surprised everyone by fielding Ashish Dubey from Jabalpur seat. Whereas Congress has given ticket to Dinesh Yadav from this seat. BJP has been continuously capturing the Jabalpur seat. In such a situation, it is a big challenge for Congress to get the important seat of Mahakaushal.

Competition will be interesting in Mandla

Mandla is the most interesting seat of the state. On this seat reserved for the tribal class, BJP has placed its bet on old face Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste, while Congress has fielded four-time MLA Omkar Singh Markam. Tribal voters are decisive on this seat.

Will Congress be able to win in Balaghat?

BJP has fielded Bharti Pardhi from Balaghat seat by canceling the ticket of Dhal Singh Bisen. On behalf of Congress, Samrat Singh Saraswat will contest this seat. BJP had won this seat in the last elections.

Congress captures Chhindwara seat

BJP has given ticket to Vivek Bunty Sahu for Chhindwara seat, while Congress has expressed confidence in Nakul Nath, son of former CM Kamal Nath. Nakul is the current MP from here. Chhindwara is considered a Congress stronghold, hence Congress will try its best on the seat.
