BJP has started brainstorming about candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. In this regard, a meeting of the election committee was held on Tuesday (5 March). During this, Bihar BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde talked to the observers. Observers have given an average of four to six names for candidates. These names were considered in the election committee meeting.
According to the information, soon three names will be selected for each Lok Sabha. After this, this list will be sent to the central leadership, where these names will be considered in the election committee meeting.
KC Tyagi called BJP elder brother
JDU General Secretary KC Tyagi, while talking to the media, said that BJP is like an elder brother to his party. Due to this statement of KC Tyagi, speculations are being made that BJP can contest elections on 17 seats in the state. On the question asked about seat sharing in Bihar NDA, KC Tyagi said that JDU will contest elections in those constituencies where it had won last time. The seats won are the trust of JDU-BJP.
BJP will contest on 17 seats
It is believed that seat sharing between the two parties will be based on the formula used in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In the 2019 elections, both BJP and JDU had contested 17 seats each in Bihar. Whereas, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) had fielded candidates on 6 seats. BJP won all 17 seats, while JDU won 16 seats.

This time in Bihar, along with BJP and JDU, Chirag Paswan’s Lok Jan Shakti (Vilas Paswan), Pashupati Paras’s Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party, Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Samata Party and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha are also part of the NDA. . In such a situation, BJP 17, JDU 17, both the groups of LJP can get 4 to 5 seats in Bihar. At the same time, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party and Hindustani Awam Morcha may also get one seat each.
