For this reason, Upendra Ravidas was implicated and sent to jail as part of a political conspiracy.

Nomination form filled on court order

Advocate Prasidh Narayan Singh told that all the information has been given before the court, on which the court has given justice and ordered the jailer to get the nomination of Upendra Ravidas. After this, on the instructions of the court, on Thursday afternoon, Upendra Ravidas was brought to the nomination venue amid tight security arrangements, where Upendra Ravidas filed his nomination papers before the District Election Officer.

On Wednesday, former Lok Sabha candidate Upendra Ravidas, along with the static surveillance team, got into a tussle with the policemen at the checkpost set up near Sohjana turn for the Lok Sabha elections, due to which the police arrested the former candidate and two other people. In this context, Junior Engineer Ashok Kumar, posted in Irrigation Division Jhajha, appointed in the Static Surveillance Team, registered a case in the police station. In this regard, Ashok Kumar said that on Wednesday, ASI was on static duty with Nidhi Kumari and the armed forces. Then a vehicle carrying 5-6 persons on Bolero going from Sono towards Jamui was stopped. During this time, the people traveling in the vehicle got angry on the issue of checking the vehicle and started speaking nonsense. Then after patiently checking the vehicle, they left. But again after ten minutes the said Bolero came and after stopping the vehicle all the people on board got down and got into a tussle with the ASI and armed police. On receiving the information, additional police force from Jhajha police station reached there and three people were arrested who were identified as Upendra Ravidas, Kailash Ravidas, resident of Dhobiakura village of Jhajha police station area and Neeraj Singh, resident of Mirzapur Bahariabad UP. While three other accused fled from the spot.
