In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Amar Ujala’s election chariot ‘Satta Ka Sangram’ reached North-East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday. Here in the evening the issues were discussed in ‘discussion with leaders’. At present Manoj Tiwari is the MP from here and this time also BJP has given him the ticket. Whereas Kanhaiya Kumar is in the election fray from India Alliance.
BJP leader Sachin Mavi said that good elections are going on here. The people of the country have decided to elect Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country once again. This election is also of the country. The way PM Modi has left an indelible mark on foreign policy. Manoj Tiwari is working as his constable. The people here have also decided that the first seat they will win from Delhi and give to PM Modi will be the North-Eastern seat.
Congress leader Haider Abbas said that the Honorable Prime Minister is not working as the Prime Minister of the country but as an event manager. Manoj Tiwari’s work on the ground is zero. There is a strange anger among the people here. Every youth and public here is campaigning considering himself as Kanhaiya Kumar. From here, Kanhaiya Kumar seems to have a one-sided victory. He is a simple person, comes from a poor family and knows the problems of the people. They raise their voice against the oppression that is happening to women.
BJP leader Mamta Kumari said that the first misconception being spread here is that people are not happy. Naturally, whatever response you are getting, it must be from the opposition. Because this is not the reaction of the common people. We are also going among the people but we are not finding negativity anywhere. Be it health, education, transport or any other field. Development is our issue. When we are climbing the ladder of development, people around us make small issues and make noises. Because development irritates their eyes. Otherwise, where would we have reached in 60 years?
Local resident Kumar Gautam while talking to Amar Ujala said that the MPs were elected 10 years ago. In the initial days, I have seen his songs once or twice and heard them in some programme. After that he was not seen anywhere. People say that to elect a Prime Minister in the country, it is very important to first elect an excellent MP. When you choose the best people, the Prime Minister will also be the best. Current MP Manoj Tiwari has zero presence in the area.
Congress supporter Harpal Singh Pali said that Kanhaiya Kumar is completely giving competition to BJP. Claimed that Kanhaiya Kumar will come out victorious. There are educated people of Delhi and they know who is the right candidate and who is going to do the work. BJP has only made statements. Gave the slogan of Rs 15 lakh, gave the slogan of development.
