Before every election, political parties present their promises to the public through manifestos. BJP also releases its manifesto in a similar manner. The party names it as Sankalp Patra. But this time the party will release not one but two manifestos in Delhi before the Lok Sabha elections 2024. One manifesto will be issued by the party at the central level for the entire country, while the other manifesto will be for Delhi. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva gave this information. Congress has also decided to issue separate manifestos on similar lines at the national and state levels.
Virendra Sachdeva said that opinions are being taken from all the people in all the Lok Sabha constituencies, assembly constituencies and divisional level of Delhi. The party wants to know what reforms people want to see happening in Delhi. All such issues will be included in the BJP’s manifesto. The party claims that after winning the elections, it will work to complete these works.
All seven BJP Lok Sabha candidates from Delhi presented their vision and priorities for their respective constituencies before the media on Monday. In this, basically a vision was presented regarding the development of infrastructure in Delhi. He alleged that the Kejriwal government did not allow the people of Delhi to avail the benefits of public welfare schemes like Ayushman Yojana. She said that if necessary, she will even approach the Supreme Court for this.
Harsh Malhotra, candidate from East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, said that he will make efforts to eliminate the mountain of garbage in East Delhi in a time bound manner. He said that the Arvind Kejriwal government is not able to dispose of the filth and garbage of Delhi. His endeavor will be to ensure that his Lok Sabha constituency as well as entire Delhi remains clean and healthy. Manoj Tiwari, candidate from North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, said that setting up new centers for the development of women in his area will be his priority.
