In the rally of SP National President, SP District President Vikram Yadav got the membership of the party.

Pravendra Rana is the son of former MLA Netram Singh. The families of Netram Singh and former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh have been very close. In the year 1993, when former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh contested elections from Kasganj Assembly, former MLA Netram Singh left his seat. There were such deep political relations between the two families. While love and dedication had become an example, but with time, the family of former MLA Netram Singh did not get proper respect. Due to which the family is getting hurt.

All the sons of Netram Singh remained associated with BJP. In the assembly elections, the sons of former MLA Netram Singh claimed for the ticket, but did not get the ticket. One of his sons, Pravendra Rana, left the BJP on Friday and joined the SP along with his district panchayat member wife Hemlata Rajput. Along with him, another District Panchayat member Kamal Singh Taini also took membership of SP. In his reaction, Pravendra Rana said that he waited a long time for MP Rajveer Singh to do something for the honor of his family, but that could not happen which became the reason for leaving the party.
