The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its much-awaited second list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections late on Wednesday evening. But not a single seat of Uttar Pradesh is included in this list. However, the heartbeats of the sitting MPs of Uttar Pradesh were increasing regarding the second list of Bharatiya Janata Party. At present it is being said that now the names of candidates from Uttar Pradesh can be declared in the third list of BJP. With this, the heartbeats of not only the present MPs of Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh but also the parties included in the NDA alliance will continue to increase till the next list comes.

Bharatiya Janata Party released the list of 72 candidates on Wednesday evening. In which candidates have been fielded for two Lok Sabha seats of Delhi. Apart from this, one Lok Sabha seat from Dadra and Nagar Haveli, seven seats from Gujarat, six from Haryana, two from Himachal Pradesh, 20 seats from Karnataka, five from Madhya Pradesh, 20 seats from Maharashtra, six from Telangana, one from Tripura and two from Uttarakhand. Candidates have been fielded for the seat. Whereas in this list, no candidate has been declared for any seat in Uttar Pradesh. According to sources associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party, there was no discussion regarding the seats of Uttar Pradesh in the election committee meeting. For this reason the list of Uttar Pradesh has not been released.

Candidates will be decided in the next election committee meeting

However, it is being discussed in the political circles that there is confusion regarding the names of some candidates. It includes three major seats. According to the information, one seat is included in Western Uttar Pradesh, the other in Purvanchal and one in Awadh. However, regarding this, senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party say that there is no confusion regarding any seat. Rather, the names on the seats will be finalized only on the basis of the progress of the decisions to be taken on all the seats. He says that after the election committee meeting to be held soon, the decision on the seats of Uttar Pradesh will also be taken.

Tickets to three former Chief Ministers in the second list

Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party had released the first list of its candidates on March 2. In which candidates for 195 seats in 16 states and two union territories were decided. It was announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would contest from Varanasi and Home Minister Amit Shah from Gandhinagar. Names of 34 Union and State Ministers were also in the first list. Whereas the second list of BJP includes the names of three former Chief Ministers including Union Ministers like Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal and Anurag Thakur.
