Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Latest News: On Saturday (18 May 2024), the last day of election campaign in Baramulla constituency, National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah attacked Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his recent visit to Kashmir. Omar Abdullah said the purpose of the Home Minister’s visit was to target the National Conference in Baramulla as the BJP and its representatives failed to defeat the party in Srinagar.
Addressing a public meeting in Magam area of Budgam district, Omar Abdullah alleged that a secret meeting was held between BJP representatives and the Union Home Minister in a five-star hotel at night in which a strategy to defeat the National Conference was chalked out, but People will fail all such efforts through voting.
Appeal to people, please vote on 20th May
Omar Abdullah appealed to voters to skip morning tea on May 20 and vote early in the morning to seal his victory and then leave the rest to him for the next five years.
Amit Shah did a two-day visit
Let us tell you that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had reached Srinagar on Thursday (16 May 2024) on a two-day visit. Here he also held a meeting with party leaders. This meeting took place in a hotel in Srinagar. Then a local BJP leader had said that Amit Shah’s Kashmir tour is not political. According to the information, during this two-day visit, Amit Shah also talked to many other delegations including BJP and local Sikhs. Amit Shah Reached Srinagar first on Thursday evening. He left for New Delhi from Kashmir on Friday morning. Voting is to be held on May 20 under the fifth phase in Baramulla constituency of Kashmir.
