Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Lok Sabha Elections There is not much time left for the dates to be announced. Before this, the allies of India Alliance are trying hard to resolve the issue of seat sharing. In many states, a consensus has also been reached between Congress and other parties regarding seat distribution. In the largest state Uttar Pradesh as well as in Gujarat, Congress has finalized the seat sharing formula with its allies, but the internal political conflict in the party has intensified on this. The displeasure of many big leaders of Congress has started coming out openly.
If we talk about the distribution of seats under the Samajwadi Party and Congress alliance in Uttar Pradesh, then out of 80 seats, 17 have been given to the Congress Party. After a long tussle between the two parties on the issue of seat sharing, SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav saved the alliance from breaking by agreeing to give 17 seats. At the same time, the matter does not stop here. After this seat sharing, the alliance definitely survived but the internal rebellion in Congress has intensified. The party’s own leaders are not liking this seat sharing formula.

Ruckus over alliance seats with AAP in Gujarat
Apart from UP, Congress’s problems do not seem to be reducing in Gujarat also. There has been talk of reaching a consensus between Congress and its ally Aam Aadmi Party regarding Bharuch and Bhavnagar Lok Sabha seats. However, Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal has already declared MLA Chaitra Vasava as the candidate from Bharuch. Now when the news is coming that Congress will give this seat to Aam Aadmi Party, then the rebellious voices on this have also become louder.
Ahmed Patel’s son raised his voice
Faisal Patel, son of Ahmed Patel, one of the prominent leaders of Congress, has staked his claim on this seat. Faisal has also informed the Congress high command that this seat should not be given to the Aam Aadmi Party. Bharuch Lok Sabha seat has been a traditional seat of Congress and Faisal’s father Ahmed Patel has also been MP from here thrice. Before Faisal, his sister and Ahmed Patel’s daughter Mumtaz Patel had also staked claim from here. Now only Faisal Patel is preparing to contest elections from here, but the party has not taken any decision yet due to opposition from Faisal Patel.
‘I am a contender for Bharuch seat’
Ahmed Patel’s son Faisal Patel says that he is a contender for the Bharuch seat. Aam Aadmi Party candidate cannot win from here. I have worked hard continuously to get here. I have also spoken to the high command. Sister Mumtaz also wants me to fight from here. Mumtaz had told me on January 10 itself that I should contest elections from here.
