Voting has begun for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections. Apart from Allahabad and Phulpur parliamentary seats of Prayagraj district, voting is being held in Pratapgarh. The pace of voting in the city North assembly constituency of Phulpur Lok Sabha constituency is currently very slow. Apart from this, voting is going on at a more or less the same pace in rural areas and long queues are being seen at many booths. The temperature today is higher than usual. Despite this, people are leaving their homes to vote.
Talking about voting percentage, till 9 am, 7.45 percent voting had taken place in Phulpur Lok Sabha constituency. Similarly, 9.32 percent voting had taken place in Allahabad parliamentary seat. While Pratapgarh Lok Sabha had the highest number of votes at 12.89 percent. If we look at the assembly wise voting, 9.92 percent voting has taken place in Shahar North, 13.63 percent in Phulpur assembly and 13.41 percent in Soraon assembly. Due to some reasons, the commission has not yet updated the voting percentage data in Shahar North and Phaphamau.
Similarly, in Allahabad seat, till 9 am, 7.41 percent votes have been cast in City South Assembly, 14 percent in Bara, 13.63 percent in Koraon and 12.76 percent in Meja. Data of Karchana is not updated. Talking about Pratapgarh, till 9 am, 12.15 percent votes have been cast in Patti Assembly, 13.31 percent in Pratapgarh Sadar, 12.94 percent in Rampur Khas and 13.4 percent in Vishwanathganj.
