There is a competition to change parties during the election season. In this series, on Saturday, people from many parties and organizations including SP, BSP and Congress took membership of BJP. The most prominent names among those who joined BJP are former BSP MP Veer Singh (Moradabad) and Ajay Yadav, son of former Chief Minister Ram Naresh Yadav. Apart from these, former Congress MP Santosh Kumar Katai (Azamgarh), former SP MP Premdas Katheria (Etawah) also took membership of BJP.

In a program organized at the state headquarters of BJP, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak gave membership to all the new members by wearing them party stripes. On this occasion, former minister in SP government Dr. KC Pandey (Gorakhpur), former minister Sadhana Mishra (Bareilly), former MLA Gajendra Singh, former MLA Aditya Pandey (BSP), former MLA Ramesh Kumar Kushwaha (Lalitpur), former BSP 36 people including MLA Vasudev Singh Baba (Bulandshahr) joined BJP. The Deputy Chief Minister welcomed everyone and called upon them to start preparing for the Lok Sabha elections and work towards getting votes in favor of the BJP. Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh was also present on this occasion.

Former state general secretary of SP Devendra Pratap Singh Gautam, national president of SP SC-ST cell Shambhu Dayal Dohre, former national secretary of SP Lohia Vahini Aditya Shukla, national vice president of Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party Dr. CS Dhangar, national president of Jan Adhikar Manch IP Kushwaha, National President Janhit Kisan Party Shyam Sundar Das Chaurasia and officials of many organizations also took membership.

SP MLA’s wife and sister also join BJP

SP MLA from Bisauli, Badaun, Ashutosh Maurya alias Raju’s wife Sushma Maurya and sister Madhu Chandra also joined BJP. Sushma Maurya has been the president of Badaun Municipal Council and Madhu Chandra has been the president of District Panchayat. Let us tell you that Ashutosh Maurya’s name was also among the SP MLAs who cross-voted in the recently held Rajya Sabha elections. Now after his wife and sister joined BJP, political discussions have intensified.
