The journey of the devotees will be difficult. Routes of many trains are being changed. The railway administration is preparing the list of affected trains.

Seven pairs of mail, passenger and express trains running from Lucknow to Ayodhya are canceled from 16 to 22 January. More than 35 trains are running with changed routes. There are four trains from Agra to Ayodhya. There is a long waiting period. Avadh Express running from Agra Fort is affected due to bad weather. Railway administration can take a big decision regarding Marudhar, Kota-Patna, Muzaffarpur and Farakka trains.

Double railway line and electrification work is going on in Barabanki near Ayodhya Cantt station. Due to repair work at Mathura Junction also, the routes of many trains have been changed. Commercial Manager of Agra Railway Division, Prashasti Srivastava said that by Thursday the status of all the trains operating from Agra to Ayodhya will become clear. No train is canceled from Agra. Some trains are diverted. A decision on affected or canceled trains may be taken soon.

Demand for stoppage of four trains

Regional Railway User Consultative Committee member Pankaj Aggarwal has raised the demand for stoppage of four trains from the General Manager. He says that stopping of trains 22436, 22435 Vande Bharat from New Delhi to Varanasi, trains 22426 and 22425 from Anand Bihar to Ayodhya at Tundla station will provide convenience to the passengers of Agra and Aligarh divisions.
