In Banda district, a loving couple committed suicide by getting hit by a train. The bodies of both were found on Avantinagar railway track on Wednesday morning. Both cousins ​​were brother and sister. Police reached the spot after receiving information and conducted investigation from the field unit at the spot. There was a love affair going on for about three years between Ramroop Kushwaha (25), resident of Amritpur Kherwa Gokhia village of Atarra Kotwali area, and Archana Kushwaha of Ainchwara village. On Wednesday, the bodies of both were found on the railway line passing through Avantinagar locality. The heads and torsos of both were found separately on either side of the track. The girl’s slippers were lying in the middle of the track and the young man’s shoes were lying near the torso.

Police informed the family through Aadhar card and mobile number. Family members told that Ramroop and Archana were cousins. Everyone knew about their love affair. Archana was married on January 21 this year in a village in Bisanda police station area. After marriage, Archana did not feel like staying in her in-laws’ house. She had gone to Surat twice to meet Ramroop.

Both times the family members had convinced him and brought him back. For the third time, Archana had gone away from her in-laws’ house again on 23 April, whose missing complaint was lodged by her father-in-law at Bisanda police station. Similarly, Ramroop also last talked to his mother on phone on April 15. He had asked to come home. After this, information about the discovery of both their bodies was received on Wednesday. Additional Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Niwas Mishra says that the case is of suicide.
