Powerful former MLA Munna Shukla is trying his luck from Vaishali Lok Sabha constituency. RJD has handed over its symbol to Munna Shukla. In the year 2004, Munna Shukla contested the Lok Sabha elections as an independent, in which he got about two lakh 56 thousand votes. At the same time, in 2009 he contested elections on JDU ticket, in which he got 2 lakh 63 thousand votes. The contest is going to be interesting after Munna Shukla enters the electoral fray from Vaishali Lok Sabha. Where Rajput candidates have dominated Vaishali Lok Sabha for many decades.
At the same time, this time Bhumihar candidates are also trying their luck on Vaishali Lok Sabha seat. Even before Vaishali Lok Sabha, Munna Shukla has tried his luck. It is also said about Munna Shukla that he has a good hold in North Bihar.
