On Tuesday night, a 16-year-old boy shot his maternal uncle and maternal aunt to death in Takrohi, Indira Nagar. He also fired at his cousin and the bullet hit his left hand. He fled after committing the crime. On receiving the information, the police and forensic team reached the spot and investigated.
Takrohi resident Rajendra Singh Chauhan (62) was retired from the Sugarcane Institute. His wife Saroj (55), three elder brothers and their families, and sister Pushpa live at home with her 16-year-old son. According to the police, there was a dispute and discord among the family members.
On Tuesday night around 9 o’clock, Kishore reached home and saw a drunk Rajendra fighting with his mother Pushpa. Angered by this, Kishore took out his gun and fired bullets. Rajendra and Saroj died due to the bullets, while his son Shravan got injured. He has been admitted to Lohia.
Search for the accused
DCP North Abhijeet R Shankar said that the incident was carried out due to mutual dispute. Three teams have been deployed to search for the accused. He will be arrested soon. Evidence has been collected from the spot. The condition of the injured is out of danger.
