After demolishing illegal constructions in Akbarnagar II, which falls under the Kukrail River Front, the campaign started in Akbarnagar I on Thursday evening. Here, bulldozers were used on 54 houses and shops on the first day. Earlier, 83 illegal constructions were demolished on the fourth day of the campaign in Akbarnagar II. The number of houses and shops demolished here has reached 395. Only two constructions are left at this place.

Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma said that there are 850 illegal shops and houses in Akbarnagar Pratham. Action has started from the side of the dam. The number of Poklane, JCB will be increased to demolish the construction soon. Earlier at 7:35 am, LDA VC Dr. Indramani Tripathi, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Indrajit Singh marched in every street of Akbarnagar Pratham with the police force and warned the people to vacate the house within 24 hours. Electricity was also cut off here. After this, families started reaching the Pradhan Mantri Awas of Basantkunj Yojana with household goods. By evening, 70 percent of Akbarnagar Pratham had been vacated.

Akbarnagar II became the field

After four days of hard work, the administration team turned Akbarnagar II into a field on Thursday evening. Only two illegal constructions are still standing here, one of which is a religious place and the other is a madrasa. These will not be demolished now because there are children in the madrasa and scriptures in the religious place. There were more than 400 illegal houses and shops in Akbarnagar II. The teachers of the madrasa met the VC in the camp office and demanded the shifting of more than 600 children before any action. On his instructions, this process started.

Hindu women demanded separate houses

Displaced Hindu women from Akbarnagar met VC and Additional District Magistrate Rakesh and requested to provide them flats in a separate apartment. The officers assured this. 892 allottees of Akbarnagar have been given possession of PM housing.

More than 30 illegal constructions demolished

LDA Vice President Dr. Indramani Tripathi says that on the court’s order, the process of demolishing illegal shops and houses has started in Akbarnagar Pratham. By 8 pm, more than 30 illegal constructions have been demolished. Akbarnagar Pratham will become a plain in two days.
