Chandrashekhar Azad on Lucknow Incident: A case of misbehavior with a girl has come to light during rain in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad is very angry about the molestation of the girl. He has said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should pay attention to law and order. He said that instead of protecting any criminal, action should be taken against him rising above caste and religion. He has also given advice to the CM.
Chandrashekhar Azad said, “We have been constantly raising questions on the law and order situation in the country. It is because of our questions that the government has woken up. The miscreants have been given a free hand. Along with the anti-Romeo squad, the slogan of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao was given. The truth is that the miscreants have a free hand in the state capital itself. The way it is visible in the video that an attempt has been made to humiliate that daughter. This humiliation is not only happening in Lucknow but in the entire state.”
Promises made regarding law and order were not fulfilled: Chandrashekhar

If the Chief Minister pays attention to law and order and such incidents are stopped, then the promises he makes regarding law and order may be visible on the ground. So far, this is not visible. Strict action should be taken against such people, no matter where the incident occurs.”
Action should be taken against the top level employees: Chandrashekhar Azad
When Chandrashekhar was told that action has been taken against some officials in the Lucknow incident, he said, “There was outrage among the public, after which the government had to take action. I am saying that instead of lower level employees, action should be taken against the officers and employees sitting at the top level. When action is taken at the top level, then all the lower level officers will be fine. The lower level employee does only the work which he gets instructions from the higher level officers.”

Chandrashekhar said, “This matter is related to the state capital, due to this the image will be created that women are not safe in the capital of UP. I would tell the Chief Minister that in the previous governments, if any officer was negligent in such incidents, he was suspended and sent to jail. In this way the officers used to remain awake. Now everything is happening in Uttar Pradesh under the patronage of the Chief Minister.”
He said, “The Chief Minister should take strict cognizance of such incidents and order that if any incident happens with a woman, then concrete action should be taken rising above caste and religion. No criminal should be spared. Such action should be taken against them that their courage is crushed.”
