Vibhutikhand police arrested two criminals who committed theft in closed corporate offices and houses by conducting recce on Wednesday night. Two gold biscuits, jewelery and Rs 87 thousand have been recovered from the possession of the accused. Police is investigating about other gang members.
ADCP East Pankaj Singh said that Saanjh Verma, resident of Vikasnagar Sector-4, is the manager of real estate company Vasudha Reality located in Vastukhand of Vibhutikhand. He had kept his jewelery and six gold biscuits in the office locker. The office was closed on 19th and 20th August on Rakshabandhan. The thieves broke the lock of the office and stole jewellery, gold biscuits and Rs 3.5 lakh from the owner. With the help of the footage, photographs of two thieves were obtained.
Late on Wednesday night, the police arrested Mintu Biswas, a resident of Tilaknagar in West Delhi, and Ram Bharose, a resident of Baniyather in Sambhal, near Cinepolis Mall. There are 11 criminal cases registered against Mintu in Aligarh, Delhi, Rajasthan and Karnataka and four against Rambharose in PGI and one in Sambhal.
