Lucknow Vigilance team raid on 5 officers of Jal Nigam in disproportionate assets cases ann


Vigilance Raid: Major action by Vigilance Department has been seen in the capital Lucknow. Where in the morning the vigilance team suddenly raided the houses of five officers of Jal Nigam. An FIR was registered against him some time ago in the case of disproportionate assets. The officers in whose place this raid took place were working in the CNDS unit of Jal Nigam.

This vigilance raid lasted for 8 hours. The officers whose premises were raided are working in the Construction and Design Services unit of Jal Nigam. Their names are Satyaveer Singh Chauhan, Raghavendra Kumar Gupta, Ajay Rastogi, Kamal Kumar Kharbanda and Krishna Kumar Patel.

Know what is the matter?
This matter is related to disproportionate assets. The Vigilance team has raided the premises of all these officers in this regard. Let us tell you that so far 11 cases have been registered in the disproportionate assets case. All of them live in different areas of Lucknow, Indira Nagar, Gomti Nagar and Vikas Nagar and vigilance teams reached all of them together for raids.

During this raid, documents of investment in undisclosed assets worth crores of rupees were found from the premises of Jal Nigam officials, in which houses, agricultural land, flats, documents of vehicles and other documents were recovered. Forms of mutual funds, insurance policies, post office and investment in various companies were also found from their houses. Besides, forms of various bank accounts and bank lockers were also recovered. During the search operation, jewelery worth lakhs was also recovered from the premises of the accused officers.

The raid action created a stir
This action of raid on Jal Nigam officials has created a stir. The Vigilance team has taken this action after obtaining a search warrant from the court. A complaint was received against these officers in the year 2020 for having disproportionate assets. The government took it seriously and ordered an investigation. During investigation, the allegations were found to be true, after which separate FIRs were registered against them.
