Rice pudding recipe
If you want to make rice kheer after lunar eclipse, first of all take long grain rice, clean it and wash it with water and soak it for half an hour. In the meanwhile, cut small pieces of dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios). After half an hour remove excess water from the rice and wash them once more. Now grind the rice coarsely with the help of a mixer. If you want, you can use rice for kheer even without grinding it.

Put milk in a deep bottom vessel and keep it to heat. When the milk comes to the first boil, add rice to it and mix it well with the help of a big spoon. Now put the gas on medium flame and let the kheer cook. Cook the kheer for about 15 minutes. During this, keep stirring the kheer in between. After this add sugar and chopped dry fruits to the kheer. Mix it too with a spoon. Now after cooking for 5 more minutes add cardamom powder to the kheer. When the kheer becomes slightly thick, turn off the gas. Tasteful rice kheer is ready. After offering food to God, first of all eat rice kheer.
