A child who was seriously injured in a road accident near a culvert on the road from Jairampur to Pakilpar in Murliganj police station area of Madhepura district died during treatment. The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Kumar (14), son of Laxman Yadav, a resident of Pakilpar ward number one.

Family members said that on Sunday, Ranjit was returning home from Murliganj market on his bicycle. Meanwhile, an uncontrolled bike rider coming from the opposite direction hit him hard. He was seriously injured in that accident. After that, the local people admitted the injured boy to Murliganj Community Health Center. Where the doctor present on the spot, after giving first aid, seeing his condition serious, referred him to a higher center for better treatment. Then the family members admitted him to Jananayak Karpuri Thakur Medical College Hospital in Madhepura. Where he died during treatment.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police sent the body to Madhepura Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Haripur Kala head Dr. Alok Kumar, ward member representative Pawan Yadav and others expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and said that this incident is very sad.
