Why Kids Dropout From School In MP: Madhya Pradesh government is making various efforts for the school children, but despite this, a large number of children are leaving school. Its worst effect is being seen on schools in rural areas of the state. The situation in these areas is worrying, the infrastructure is inadequate. The situation is that there is shortage of furniture in many schools. Students in these schools often sit on the floor during classes. Also, cleanliness is a big issue in the schools of the state. Due to all these reasons, a large number of children are leaving school. In which the number of girls is highest.

The teacher-student ratio in the schools of Madhya Pradesh has reached worse levels. Apart from this, absence of teachers in remote areas is adversely affecting regular classes. Also, there is a shortage of expert teachers in related subjects. There is a shortage of mathematics and science teachers in many schools of the state. Because of which teachers of other subjects are taught mathematics and science subjects.

About 70 thousand posts are vacant in state schools

Due to shortage of teachers in the state, the condition of education in government schools is very bad. About 70 thousand posts are vacant in schools. There are 1200 schools where there are no teachers. Whereas there are 6,000 schools which are running with the help of only one teacher, who teaches all the subjects to the children. In such a situation, the quality of education of the state can be easily estimated.

Apart from this, the gap in technology between government schools and private schools of Madhya Pradesh is increasing. After Covid-19, private schools in the state have adopted digital teaching methods, but most government schools lack basic computer facilities. Especially, after Covid-19, the difference in the use of technology between government schools and private schools of Madhya Pradesh has increased.
