Lakhs of devotees take a dip in the confluence of the Ganga-Yamuna and the invisible Saraswati on Vasant Panchami. The process of bathing had started from early morning itself. With the announcement of Har-Har Mahadev and Har-Har Ganga, devotees and Kalpavasis from all over the country took a dip in Triveni. Bathing arrangements have been made at a total of 17 ghats. The arrival of devotees had started in the Sangam area from Wednesday itself.
On Thursday, the bathing started from the morning itself. The security system has been tightened in the fair. Heavy police force has been deployed in all the five sectors. The Sangam beach is guarded by the paramilitary force. Due to Republic Day, the flag was hoisted in the camps of Kalpavasi and Tapaswis. The atmosphere is resonating with devotional as well as patriotic songs. Hanumanji lying on the banks of the Sangam was decorated in the color of the tricolor.
Immerse yourself in Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga
Prakatyotsav of Maa Saraswati, on Vasant Panchami, a dip of virtue in Sangam took place in Siddhi and Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga. Shiva Yoga and Ravi Yoga are also available on this day. In such a situation, the combination of auspicious planets is making this bath festival very special. Panchami of Shukla Paksha of Magh month is falling this time on Thursday, January 25. According to Jyotishacharya Pt. Brajendra Mishra, this time Rituraj’s arrival on Vasant Panchami will be accompanied by four yogas. If Shiv Yoga will remain till 3:28 in the afternoon, then after that Siddhi Yoga will take place. Similarly, Ravi Yoga will start from 6:57 in the evening, then Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will remain from 6:57 in the evening till 7:12 in the morning of Friday. In such a situation, taking a dip in the Sangam on Vasant Panchami bathing festival is especially fruitful.
Along with repairing the ghats made for bathing in the Ganga including Sangam, electricity, chalked plate routes and toilets were repaired as well as security arrangements were made. Meladhikari Arvind Chauhan reviewed the point-wise preparations with the officers and saved the officers from allowing any laxity in the arrangement of easy bathing. From the evening itself, along with all the pontoon bridges, an ocean of devotion started pouring in from Kali Marg, Triveni Marg, Jhunsi and Phaphamau. More crowd is expected from Purvanchal and surrounding areas on this festival. In view of this, elaborate arrangements have been made for security and crowd management.
Hanumanji lying in the color of the tricolor
Hanumanji lying on the banks of the Sangam was seen painted in the colors of the tricolor on Republic Day. Bajrang Bali was supernaturally decorated with green, white and saffron flowers. Tricolors were also hoisted all around. Devotees were overwhelmed by seeing the grand make-up of Bajrang Bali. Chants of Jai Shri Ram and Jai Bajrang Bali kept echoing.
