Magh Mela special train of North Eastern Railway started from Sunday for Makar Sankranti and Magh Mela. In the first phase, trains will operate till January 28. Train number 05109 Banaras-Prayagraj Rambagh Magh Mela Special left Banaras station at 10.30 pm.

Prayagraj will reach Rambagh at 2 pm on the second day via Bhullanpur, Hardattpur, Rajatalab, Baherwa Halt, Nigatpur, Kachhwa Road, Katka, Madho Singh, Ahimanpur and other stations including Alamau Halt, Gyanpur Road. In the return journey, 05110 Prayagraj Rambagh-Banaras Magh Mela Special train will leave at 9.25 am and reach Banaras at 1 pm.

Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway Varanasi Division, Ashok Kumar said that 05111 Banaras-Prayagraj Rambagh Magh Mela special train will operate from 15 to 25 January. It will leave from Banaras at 8 am and reach Prayagraj Rambagh at 11.30 am. In the return journey, 05112 Prayagraj Rambagh-Banaras train will depart from Prayagraj Rambagh at 5.10 pm and reach Banaras station at 8.45 pm.

Roadways buses increased to 120 trips

In view of Magh Mela, 120 additional trips of buses have been increased. Before this, 120 buses were operating. Ordinary buses are operating every 15 minutes and AC buses are operating every half hour. RM Gaurav Verma said that the frequency of buses has been increased for the devotees. Information about buses is also being given at the inquiry counter located at Cantt Roadways Bus Station.
