The month of Magh will end with a bath in the Ganga on Magh Purnima. With this, the rituals of Magh month will also come to a halt. The festival of Magh Purnima will be celebrated on 24th February in Udaya Tithi. Along with the Ganga, hundreds of devotees will gather on the banks of Ganga Gomti to take bath. The best time to take bath on Magh Purnima is 51 minutes in the morning.
National President of Kashi Vidvat Karmkand Parishad, Acharya Ashok Dwivedi said that Magh Purnima Tithi will start on February 23 at 3:34 pm. Magh Purnima will end at 5:59 pm on February 24. Bathing, donations and rituals of Maghi Purnima will take place on 24th February in Udaya Tithi. On the full moon date, Magha Nakshatra will remain from 7:26 pm on 23rd February to 10:21 pm on 24th February. Bathing, charity and virtue have special significance on the full moon day with Magha constellation. The most auspicious time for bathing and donation is from 5:11 am to 6:02 am.
