The new session 2024-25 has started in the council schools of Uttar Pradesh from April 1. In the new session, strictness will be again imposed regarding digitalization of a dozen registers in schools, which also includes digital attendance. The Basic Education Department will implement it in a phased manner. In the first phase, real time updation of students’ online attendance and mid-day meal will be done.
Regarding the new session, guidelines have been issued by Director General School Education Kanchan Verma regarding quality education in council, primary, upper primary and Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools. The Director General has said that digital use of mid-day meal and student attendance register should be ensured in schools. Smart classes and ICT labs have been established in schools. Its better use should be ensured.
In this sequence, there should be remedial classes for students of classes six to eight. Teaching and practice should be conducted as per the guides for science and English subjects. Various educational materials like Big Books, Picture Story Cards, Posters, Library Books, TLM, Maths Kit, Educational Videos should be used in studies.
He also instructed all BSA and DIET principals to communicate with parents for regular and 100 percent attendance of children. Organize the monthly meeting of the teacher group as per the prescribed agenda. Ensure presence of all teachers in the meeting. He has said that they should ensure compliance with the instructions by coordinating with BEO, District Coordinators, SRG, ARP, Principals.
