Maharashtra Assembly Election: Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra this year and the atmosphere for it has already started building up. Fierce statements of the ruling party and opposition parties are continuing and senior leaders are also meeting each other. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi He is reaching Delhi to meet PM Modi. Amidst all this, two surveys have come out regarding the assembly elections, which are very shocking.
The first survey has been published on the website of Jansatta, in which it is claimed that BJP has done an internal survey on Maharashtra. This survey has estimated that BJP will get 55 to 65 seats. There are 288 seats in Maharashtra out of which BJP can win only 55 to 65 seats. Earlier in 2019, the saffron party had won 105 seats and in 2014, it had won 122 seats. Looking at these numbers, this survey is a matter of concern for BJP.
The survey has drawn lines of worry on the forehead of BJP
BJP seems quite worried about this survey. On the other hand, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is confident of returning to power with the support of BJP. In this survey, it has been estimated that Mahavikas Aghadi will get a good number of seats.
There is tough competition in the second survey as well
Apart from this, another survey has been published by Navbharat Times. This survey has been done by political analyst Dayanand Nene for Navbharat Times. However, it has been done on 36 seats of Mumbai. In which MVA has been estimated to get 17 seats and Mahayuti 13 seats in the month of August. Whereas, in the month of June, MVA was estimated to get 18 seats and Mahayuti 16 seats.
What was the result on these seats in 2019?
In 2019, Mahayuti won 19 seats, BJP won 11, Congress won 4, NCP won 1 and SP won 1 seat. If we look at the estimates of these surveys, it is clear that this time the opposition alliance seems to have an upper hand. At the same time, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has claimed that this time BJP will be defeated badly in the assembly elections and Mahavikas Aghadi alliance will have a landslide victory.
