Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 dispute between Uddhav Thackeray Congress Over Seat Sharing end soon Akhilesh yadav

Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: Before the assembly elections in Maharashtra, differences are coming to the fore regarding seat sharing between Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray faction i.e. Shiv Sena (UBT) and Congress. Shiv Sena (UBT) has already made it clear that it will not discuss seat sharing with Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole.

Meanwhile, Congress sources have claimed that the issue of seat sharing will be resolved in the coming day or two. The Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance of opposition parties in the state includes Congress, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sharad Pawar’s faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

Seat sharing issue will be resolved soon

Congress sources claim that differences on some seats in the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance will be resolved in a day or two. The problem in seat sharing is that Shiv Sena (UBT) is laying claim even in those places where there are more minorities and which are Congress strongholds. SP is also staking its claim on these seats. Shiv Sena (UBT) is staking its claim on Mumbai seats like Versova, Bykala and some other seats. However, both the parties want to contest the elections together. In such a situation, this issue will be resolved in the coming time. Last time Zeeshan had won from Bandra East for Congress. Now Shiv Sena and UBT have staked their claim on this seat.

Akhilesh Yadav also asked for seats

According to information, Samajwadi Party (SP) has demanded 12 seats from Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra. Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has also announced the candidate from Dhule Assembly City seat on Saturday. Akhilesh Yadav has also talked to Uddhav Thackeray. There may also be a tussle in the alliance regarding the seats demanded by Akhilesh Yadav because Congress and Shiv Sena UBT do not want to give those seats to SP. At present talks are going on.
