Maharashtra News, Bus Accident In Shirdi 10 Killed In Tourist Bus Collision With Truck


Maharashtra News: A horrific accident took place on the Nashik-Shirdi highway on Friday morning. A bus full of Sai devotees going for Shirdi darshan collided with a truck. 10 devotees died in this accident, while many passengers are reported to be injured. The accident happened near Pathare on the Shirdi Highway.

The dead included 7 women and 3 men.

According to the information, there were about 45 to 50 people in the bus. All of them were residents of Ambernath, Mumbai. Of the 10 passengers who have died, 7 are said to be women and 3 are men. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police team reached the spot and the injured were admitted to Saibaba Hospital. According to doctors, the condition of some of the injured is still critical. However, the dead have not been identified yet.

CM Eknath Shinde expressed grief over the accident

Chief Minister of Maharashtra on the death of people in the bus accident on the Nashik-Shirdi highway Eknath Shinde expressed condolences. At the same time, the CM has announced an assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased. The CM has also ordered the concerned officials to investigate the incident.

On January 9 also, an accident happened due to overturning of a mini bus.
Let us tell you that there was a road accident in Maharashtra on January 9 as well. 14 people were injured, 6 of them seriously, when a mini bus carrying tourists overturned in Nashik district. The accident took place around 2 pm on the Trimbakeshwar-Nashik road when a group of tourists were returning to their hotel after visiting the Brahmagiri mountain range.
