Preparations for NAAC evaluation have intensified in Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth. The decision on when the evaluation process will start and for how many days it will last is likely to be taken after the presentation at Raj Bhavan. The report prepared under the direction of the Vice Chancellor will be presented before the Chancellor and State Governor Anandi Ben Patel on January 11. Further action can be started only after it is approved. However, last time he got C grade in the evaluation. In such a situation, improving grading this time is a big challenge for the university.
NAAC evaluation was considered necessary by UGC in universities as well as colleges. In the report released by NAAC after the evaluation conducted five years ago in November 2018, Kashi Vidyapeeth had got C grade.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Anand Tyagi says that the report includes the number of teachers, students, employees, facilities (hostels, teaching etc.), department-wise research work, number of admission takers, library, achievements related to sports.
Now the report will be placed before the Chancellor on January 11. After getting the seal from here, evaluation related action will be taken. This time the target has been set to get A grade. University will open today for preparation
In Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, it has been decided to open the university on Sunday for the preparation of NAAC assessment. Registrar Dr. Sunita Pandey said that all the departments and offices of the university will open at the scheduled time. Besides, presence of teachers, officers and employees is also necessary. During this period all preparations related to evaluation will be done.
