In the interview, Mahima Chaudhary told that many people do not know this, but she was the first person whom Hina Khan contacted after cancer diagnosis. Mahima said, “I was the first person Hina called after she was diagnosed with cancer. I felt very touched that she remembered me at such an important time in her life. She is considering going to America for her treatment. But I told her that we have everything available here in India and she can get her treatment here.”
Why did Mahima ask Hina not to go to America for treatment?
Further in the interview, Mahima Chaudhary told why she had asked Hina Khan to give up the idea of going to America for her cancer treatment. The actress said, “I convinced Hina to get treatment in India only because let me tell you that in America only Indian doctors will treat her. In the end, it is the same medicine, the same doctor and the same treatment. And all this now We have it available in India, so why leave the country and go somewhere else for the convenience of your family and friends.”
