In Mahoba district, the team of Anti-Corruption Organization Unit Banda caught a Lekhpal red-handed while taking a bribe of 10 thousand rupees from Kulpahar town. The team brought the accused Lekhpal to Kabrai police station. The team in-charge has registered a case against the Lekhpal in the police station under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Farmer Surendra Singh Sengar, resident of Satari village of Tehsil Kulpahar, was having a land dispute. The victim was visiting the Lekhpal for several months to get his land measured. Three days ago, the Lekhpal demanded 10 thousand rupees from the farmer in the name of land measurement. On which the farmer informed the Anti-Corruption Organization Lucknow about the matter. On Tuesday, in-charge of Anti-Corruption Team Banda, Rajesh Singh Yadav, SI Omprakash and Sanoj Kumar Yadav reached the town of Kulpahar with the team.

As soon as the farmer gave a bribe of 10 thousand rupees to Lekhpal Devendra Rajput in a restaurant in front of the police station, the team caught him red handed. The team brought the Lekhpal to Kabarai police station in the car. Where the paperwork was done. The team in-charge said that the Lekhpal was caught taking bribe on the complaint of the farmer. A case was registered against the accused Lekhpal Devendra Rajput under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
