Mahtari Vandan Yojana: The Government of India runs many schemes for the people of the country. Crores of people of the country get the benefits of government schemes. This year, Chhattisgarh government has also started Mahtari Vandan Yojana for the women of the state. Under this scheme, the government gives a monthly installment of Rs 1000 to women every month. Lakhs of women of the state are given benefits under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. But some eligibility criteria have been fixed under the scheme. Now the names of these women can be removed from the schemes.

Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana of Chhattisgarh Government, benefits are given to 70 lakh women of Chhattisgarh state. These women are sent money directly into their accounts every month by the government through DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer. Chhattisgarh government has fixed some eligibility criteria for benefits under this scheme. But many women are registering under the scheme with wrong documents.

Now the government is preparing to identify these women and remove their names from the scheme. These are the eligibility criteria for the scheme

Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana of Chhattisgarh, it provides financial assistance of Rs 1,000 every month to women aged 21 years and above. To benefit from the scheme, women must be natives of Chhattisgarh. To benefit from the scheme, there should not be any person in the family of women doing a government job. Along with this, under the scheme, there should not be any income tax payer in the women’s family.
