âMaidanâ is the biopic of the countryâs very famous football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. Ajay Devgan has played the lead character of Syed Abdul in the film. Since the trailer of this film, fans were eagerly waiting for its release. Although it received a very lukewarm response from the audience after its release, this film is struggling to survive at the box office since the first day of its release.
Talking about the earnings of the film, âMaidanâ had collected Rs 7.10 crore including paid previews on the first day of its release. In the first week, âMaidanâ has earned Rs 28.35 crore. Now this film of Ajay Devgan has reached its second week of release and it earned Rs 1.45 crore on second Friday. On the second Saturday, the collection of the film increased by 82.76 percent and it collected Rs 2.65 crore.
