Did Pankaj want to enter politics?
In an interview with ANI, Pankaj talked about his college days in Bihar and said that he was a part of ABVP. The actor said, “Everyone is a politician in Bihar.” When asked if Pankaj had thought of joining politics at that time, the actor said that he wanted to make a career out of it but once he was arrested, he gave up the idea. “I said,” he said. At that time I never thought of entering politics. There was an idea that I could move forward in this line, but then there was an arrest and the police beat me, so I left that idea there.
Pankaj Tripathi said that this was the time when he started getting interested in theater and he decided to move forward on the same path.
