Ingredients to make Achari Paneer
Paneer cubes โ 1 cup
Tomato โ 3-4
Ginger โ 1 inch piece
Green chili โ 3-4
Cream โ 1/2 cup
Green coriander โ 2-3 tbsp
Turmeric โ 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder โ 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder โ 1 tsp
Rai โ 1/2 tsp
Cumin โ 1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds โ 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds โ 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida โ 1 pinch
Garam masala โ 1/4 tsp
Oil โ 2-3 tbsp
salt โ as per taste
How to make Achari Paneer
To make the flavourful Achari Paneer, first cut the paneer into square pieces of the same size. Now put chopped tomatoes, ginger and green chillies in the mixer and grind them to make a paste and take it out in a bowl. Now heat a pan. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds and dry roast them on low flame. After this, turn off the gas and after the spices are slightly hot, put them in the mixer and grind them coarsely. If desired, you can also grind fennel and coriander seeds along with it.
Now put oil in the pan and heat it. After the oil is hot, add turmeric, asafoetida and coarsely ground spices and fry while stirring with a spoon. After some time add tomato-ginger paste and fry it. When oil starts separating from the spices, add cream to the pan and cook for 2 more minutes. After this, put paneer pieces in the pan and mix well with the prepared gravy.
After cooking the Achari Paneer for some time, add water as needed and let the vegetable cook. If you want to eat dry Achari Paneer, then there is no need to add water. When the gravy starts boiling, add garam masala and salt as per taste and mix, then cover the pan and let the vegetable cook for 2 more minutes. After this turn off the gas. Garnish green coriander leaves in the vegetable. Flavorful Achari Paneer curry is ready to be served.
