Ingredients to make Palak Paneer
Spinach – 1/2 kg
Paneer cubes – 1 cup
Onion chopped – 1
Fresh cream – 3-4 tbsp
Ginger chopped – 1/2 inch piece
Green chili chopped – 1 tsp
Kasuri fenugreek – 1 tsp
Crushed Garlic – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
salt – as per taste
How to make Palak Paneer
To make palak paneer full of taste, first break the thick stems of spinach and wash them thoroughly by putting them in clean water, so that all the dirt on the leaves is removed. Now cut the spinach and heat water in a vessel, add a pinch of salt and heat it. After the water becomes hot, put chopped spinach in it and boil for 2 minutes. After this, turn off the gas and separate the water by putting the spinach in a strainer.
Immediately after this, keep the spinach under cold water and wash it for a minute. After this, transfer the spinach to the mixer and grind it by adding ginger, green chillies and 1/4th of water and prepare the spinach puree. After the puree is ready, take it out in a bowl and keep it aside. After this, put some oil in a pan and heat it. After the oil is hot, add paneer cubes and fry till golden.
After the paneer is fried, take them out in a bowl and add some more oil to the pan and add finely chopped onions and fry them. When the onion becomes soft, add garlic and fry it for 30 seconds. After this, put the spinach puree in the pan and add garam masala and salt as per taste and let the puree cook. After some time add one-third cup of water to the puree and let it boil on low flame.

While cooking the puree, keep stirring it from time to time with the help of a ladle. When the gravy starts boiling, add fried paneer cubes to it and after mixing it well, cook the vegetable for 5 minutes. After this add kasoori methi and lemon juice and mix. At last turn off the gas and add fresh cream on top and mix. Tasty palak paneer curry is ready. Serve it with roti, naan or rice.
