How can it be the festival of Diwali and nothing sweet is prepared for the family members? Although people like to make kheer and vermicelli on happy occasions, but today let’s try something new. On this occasion, if you make everyone’s mouth sweet by making Paneer Kheer, then believe me they will all keep licking their fingers. If you are bored of eating rice kheer, then you definitely have to try this kheer.
To make this kheer, you do not need any special ingredients and it is very easy to make. It is made by boiling cheese in condensed milk. This can be prepared and served not only during Diwali but during any festival. This kheer will be prepared for 4 people. It will take you a total of 30 minutes to cook it. If there is a diabetic at home then you can also use sugar free instead of sugar.
Material
1 liter milk (4 cups)
200 grams cheese
1/2 cup sugar
10 saffron threads
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
2 tbsp chopped nuts
How to make Paneer Kheer
First of all, grate the cheese and keep it aside.
Pour milk in a saucepan. Use only full cream milk.
Boil milk and cook on low flame.
Cook it until it reduces to almost half.
Now add sugar. Then add saffron threads.
Mix it well, cook again on low flame for a few minutes.
Add grated cheese.
Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add cardamom powder and dry fruits on top
Mix well and turn off the gas.
Your Paneer Kheer is ready. Serve it cold or hot.
This kheer will become tasty only when you use full fat milk in it. If you want, you can use cow’s milk or packet milk.
