These are the ingredients needed to make Mur-Mure Dosa:

2 cups puffed rice
1 cup plain curd
1/2 cup rice flour
1/4 cup urad dal
1-2 green chillies, finely chopped (optional)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
Fresh coriander, chopped (optional)
cooking oil

Prepare like this

First of all, start by soaking puffed rice in water for about 10 minutes. This will help soften it and make it easier to mix.

After this, filter the puffed rice and put it in a blender. Add curd, rice flour and urad dal. Blend until you get a smooth batter. If necessary, add some water to get dosa-like consistency.

In a small pan, heat some oil and add mustard seeds. Once they start spluttering, add chopped green chillies and turmeric powder. Fry for a minute and then add this tempering to the dosa batter. Mix well and add salt as per taste.

Now heat a non-stick kadai or dosa pan on medium flame and lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladle of batter on the pan and spread it in circular motion to make a thin dosa. Cook it until the edges turn golden brown and the dosa becomes crisp. Flip and cook the other side for a minute.

It takes very little time to make this recipe. Its batter is ready within minutes. Also this dosa cooks quickly. Puffed rice is light and easy to digest. Combined with curd and rice flour, it provides a good balance of nutrients and energy.
