Veg Manchurian is a tasty Chinese dish made of mixed vegetables served as a dry starter. Veg Manchurian is one of the most liked recipes today. To make this, first of all mixed vegetable koftas are made and fried in oil. Then cooked with soya sauce, tomato sauce, chili sauce. So come, today we will tell you about this easy recipe.

Ingredients for Manchurian Balls:

Cabbage- 2 cups (grated)

Carrot- 1 cup (grated)

Capsicum – 1 (grated)

Green chilli- 1 (finely chopped)

Black pepper- 2 pinches

Corn flour- 4-5 tbsp

Soya sauce- 1 tsp

Ajinomoto- ½ teaspoon (optional)

Salt- as per taste

Green Coriander – 1 tablespoon finely chopped

Oil- for frying Manchurian balls

Ingredients of Manchurian Sauce:

Oil- 2 tbsp

Ginger- 1 teaspoon (grated)

Green chilli – 1-2 (finely chopped)

Corn flour- 2-3 tbsp

Soya sauce- 1 tablespoon

Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp

Chilli sauce- 1/2-1 tsp

Vegetable stock- 1 cup

Sugar- 1/2-1 tsp

Ajinomoto- 2 pinches

Salt- as per taste

Vinegar- 1 tsp

Green Coriander – 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)

Method:

Method to make Manchurian Balls:

First of all, boil 1 cup water in a vessel. After this, put the grated vegetables in boiling water and cover and cook for 3 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the vegetables. When the vegetables cool down, filter them and press them to remove the water from the vegetables i.e. vegetable stock and keep it aside. We will use this vegetable stock to make Manchurian sauce and make Manchurian balls from the vegetables.

Now add green chilli, black pepper, corn flour, soya sauce, ajinomoto, green coriander and salt to the boiled vegetables and mix well. Take out the mixture little by little, make small balls and keep them in a plate.

Now put oil in the pan and heat it, put a Manchurian ball in the hot oil for frying, if this ball bursts and disintegrates in the oil, then add 1-2 more tablespoons of corn flour in the mixture and mix well and make small balls from the mixture. Make balls and prepare them. Put 5-6 Manchurian balls in hot oil and fry until golden brown, take out in a plate. Fry all the Manchurian balls in this manner and take them out. Manchurian balls are ready, now we will make Manchurian sauce for them.

How to make Manchurian Sauce:

Put oil in the pan, when the oil is hot, add ginger and green chillies, fry a little, add soya sauce, tomato sauce to the roasted spices, and fry the spices lightly.

Dissolve the corn starch in the vegetable stock until the lumps disappear, pour the solution into the spices, when it boils, add the chilli sauce, sugar, salt, vinegar and Ajinomoto. Add green coriander and mix. After the Manchurian gravy starts boiling, let the gravy cook on low flame for 2 minutes. Now add Manchurian balls in this gravy and cook for 1-2 minutes. Keep in mind that if you are making dry Manchurian then do not make too much gravy.

Now your Veg Manchurian Dry is ready, serve hot Veg Manchurian and eat.
