Malaysia PM Anwar Ibrahim On Kashmir: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is on a three-day visit to Pakistan. Where they have spewed venom about Jammu and Kashmir from the soil of the neighboring country. Ibrahim said that Malaysia supports the United Nations Security Council resolution on Kashmir. After the meeting with Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif, the Malaysian PM told reporters that human rights issues regarding Kashmir are definitely a matter of concern. Malaysia will continue talks on Kashmir issue and would like it to be resolved through mutual coordination.

According to the report of Radio Pakistan, the PMs of Pakistan and Malaysia showed commitment to strengthen the partnership keeping in mind the past cooperation between their countries. He stressed on increasing mutual cooperation on various issues including trade, economy, commerce, investment, tourism, investment, education and defence. During the meeting, the leaders of both the countries praised each other. On one hand, Prime Minister Ibrahim praised Pakistan’s relations with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), while on the other hand, Pakistani PM Shahbaz Sharif congratulated Malaysia for the upcoming chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025.
