A man committed suicide in Izzatnagar police station area of ​​Bareilly. His body was found hanging from a noose in the room on Monday night. Rajiv Srivastava, a resident of Defence Colony in Izzatnagar police station area, committed suicide by hanging himself on the upper floor of his house. According to local people, earlier on Monday night around 10 o’clock, he had called UP 112 and informed the police that he was going to commit suicide.

After getting the information, the police reached the colony, but the location could not be traced as the number was switched off. The police kept wandering for a long time. Later, after identifying the phone number from the local people, the police could reach Rajiv’s house. The body was taken down and sealed. Rajiv’s wife and daughter lived separately. There was a dispute between the couple. This is believed to be the reason for the suicide.
