Manish Sisodia on Delhi LG: Delhi’s Arvind Kejriwal government has now made a new allegation against Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena. The Kejriwal government said that now the flagship program of the Kejriwal government, in which teachers of Delhi government schools are trained through exposure visits abroad, is being banned by the Lieutenant Governor. According to the Delhi government, the Lieutenant Governor has put a hold on the proposed training of primary-incharges and teacher educators of the Directorate of Education in Finland and asked the Directorate of Education to provide a cost-benefit analysis of the foreign exposure training conducted in previous years.
In response to the objection lodged by the Lieutenant Governor, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia said that LG’s ban on foreign exposure training of our teachers is an attack on Delhi’s education model. He said that the Delhi education model which has made India proud all over the world, instead of helping to make that education model more glorious, the Lieutenant Governor is working to stop its unique initiatives, it is very shameful.

It has contributed a lot in the education revolution of Delhi. It is not right to stop them from going for training abroad. CM Arvind Kejriwal said in another tweet, “You stopped me from going abroad, no problem but let the teachers go to Finland for training? Don’t stop them?”
Teachers have been sent to these countries earlier
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that after coming to power, the Kejriwal government has been training its teachers in leading countries and institutes in the field of education including Singapore, Finland, Oxford, Cambridge to learn from the world’s education models and adopt them in their schools. sent for. Due to the training, the confidence of teachers and school heads increased and they saw education from a global perspective. This is the reason why our teachers today are teaching children with confidence and confidence and are adopting new initiatives in their classrooms. Manish Sisodia said that due to this, today the board result of Delhi government schools is 99.6%. Hundreds of children coming out of our schools are getting admission in IITs and medical institutes. Today even a child from a poor family is able to get admission in the best higher educational institutions of the country after passing out from the Delhi government school.
He said that LG Saheb says that there is no justification for these trainings and he has asked SCERT for its cost-benefit analysis. Manish Sisodia said that I want to ask LG sir, how is the cost-benefit analysis of these trainings done? Are the changes in Delhi government schools after these trainings, the wonderful atmosphere created there, excellent results of children in board exams, increasing trust of parents on Delhi government schools not the result of these trainings? He said that the ban on these trainings by the Lieutenant Governor is a complete attack on education.
