Manoj Bajpayee talked about Family Man 3 shooting, revealed he bargains wife Shabana like thrifting


Story of Manoj Bajpayee: Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee is in the news these days for his recently released film ‘Bhaiya Ji’. The actor, who came into the limelight with The Family Man, has recently revealed many secrets about his personal life. He has also talked about the third season of his popular series ‘The Family Man’.

In an interview given to Mashable India, Manoj Bajpayee talked about the shooting of ‘The Family Man 3’. He said- ‘Now the fun has started. I am enjoying the shooting. The story will be much bigger and exciting than before. This time Srikant Tiwari is in trouble. On the question whether Manoj buys grocery, he said that yes he does grocery shopping.’

Manoj also does grocery
Manoj said- ‘I buy vegetables and fruits. Right now I don’t get a chance because I am busy with shooting. I bargain. The vegetable vendor scolds me saying that Sir, this doesn’t look good. Then I say that I am practicing. Earlier my wife used to behave as if she doesn’t know me. She doesn’t like bargaining.’

The actor is a serious driver
The ‘Bhaiya Ji’ actor further told how he remains very serious while driving. He said- ‘When I was dating my wife in the early days, she used to refuse to go on a drive with me because I used to drive seriously. She used to say that what kind of driving is this that you are looking straight and not even talking.’

Wife buys affordable clothes abroad
Manoj Bajpayee further revealed that his wife buys affordable clothes abroad. He said- ‘We go out with Shabana, like if we go to America, we may or may not buy it but we have to visit thrift stores in every city. My and my daughter’s job is to search for such stores. If I have clothes that need to be discarded, we pack them in cartons and send them to friends and relatives. They distribute them to the needy people there. You cannot throw it away. Keep it in a place where it keeps circulating.’

I did not wear shoes until I went to college
Remembering his college days, Manoj says, ‘I did not wear shoes until I went to college. I used to wear leather slippers. I was from Bihar and it was my habit. I always had a passion for wearing good clothes. I had only three clothes but they were clean, washed and fashionable. I was never fond of shoes. I started wearing shoes when I started doing theatre.’
