Manoj Yadav, close to Akhilesh, joins BJP

RCL Group Chairman Manoj Yadav, considered very close to SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, joined BJP on Wednesday. He took membership in the presence of State President Bhupendra Chaudhary at the state office in Lucknow. The party has suffered a major setback after Manoj Yadav’s resignation from SP. Now Dimple Yadav is also expected to get competition on this seat.
RCL Group Chairman Manoj Yadav has been very close to SP. He is also considered close to Akhilesh Yadav. Even in the 2022 by-election, he gave his full strength for Dimple Yadav. He has also been the block chief from Ghiror on SP ticket. On January 30, he resigned from SP citing family feud in SP as the reason. Then he did not clarify the situation of joining any other party.
BJP state president got membership in the state office
He joined the BJP on Wednesday at the BJP state office in the presence of district leaders. State President BJP Bhupendra Chaudhary and other senior leaders gave him membership of the party. This has dealt another big blow to SP. However, Manoj Yadav had earlier also said that he was happy with the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since then, speculations were being made about his joining BJP.
