According to a Forbes India report, serious allegations related to data theft have been leveled against Ola. MapMyIndia offers dedicated navigation solutions and is an Indian mapping company. Earlier, electric vehicle company and taxi service provider Ola had launched its own Ola Maps facility.

Indian navigation company MapMyIndia has alleged that Ola has stolen its special software and used it to develop Ola Maps. In the legal notice, MapMyIndia has said that Ola has violated its intellectual property rights. However, no response has come from Ola in this regard so far.
